At Variance Project, we believe that the concept of “choosing your faction” can add a whole new level of engagement and excitement for audiences. From sports teams to TV shows, people naturally gravitate towards identifying with a specific group or team. We want to bring this same dynamic to the VTuber world by creating distinct factions for our vtubers to belong to.
Through this, audience members can cheer for their favorite faction for a variety of reasons, whether it’s because their favorite streamer is part of that group, they align with the faction’s style, or simply because they find the faction to be “bad-ass.” It creates a sense of healthy competition and allows the audience to connect with the vtubers in a personal way.
We can also create unique “VS” events between factions, which can last indefinitely. It allows the audience to follow and engage with the factions and their progress, creates more opportunities for interaction and engagement with the audience.
In short, by creating factions, we can add a new level of engagement and excitement for audiences, and create endless opportunities for unique events and experiences within the universe of Variance.
